DURING THE PERIOD OF TRAINING: During training I was frequently involved in teaching of medical students and junior medical residents. Towards the end of my training period, I became the chief resident in pulmonary medicine and participated in basic and clinical research work.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

Through the 5 years of training in medicine and pulmonology, I had the responsibility of teaching students, interns, and medical residents as well as supervising their clinical work. Since July 1988, my responsibility included teaching of medical students, interns Arab Board residents and King Saud University Fellowship in Medicine and in Respiratory diseases, as well as participating in all postgraduate teaching programs and courses besides my clinical practice commitments. Currently I am the coordinator for continuous education in the respiratory division, the program director for KSU fellowship in Respiratory diseases, and the coordinator of the committee for establishment of the National Saudi Board in Respiratory Diseases.
